Square Enix opened a 25th anniversary Final Fantasy site today. The site has a discography, listing all the various FF releases and ports, and a section listing FF-related goods and product.
lso at the site is a Creator’s Voice section. Leading off the column is Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada who notes that he joined Square in 2000 ahead of Final Fantasy IX’s release.
“We’ll take the 25th anniversary as an opportunity to begin our walk towards the next 25 years,” wrote Wada. “In order to make the fans happy, we the developer have just one promise we can make. Outside of talent and ability, we will also make sure development is handled exclusively by creators who feel love of the FF series stronger than anyone else.”
